Me here, your turmeric obsessed, veggie loving, paleo friend, back with a recipe for turmeric tahini dressing!
Now, I realize that not everyone has time to make dressing, I hardly had time to make this myself… BUT, if you’re making a really fancy salad for a dinner party or love turmeric/tahini and are going to use this for the whole week, it’s SO worth it!
I get tired of the same dressing all the time and love topping my salads with new ingredients to keep them interesting! This dressing goes so well on any type of kale salad. It has a little sweetness from coconut nectar (or honey) that plays well with the nuttiness of the tahini and earthiness of the turmeric.
This recipe really isn’t thaaaaat hard either, it’s just not as easy and throwing some olive oil and vinegar on a salad. But really all you need to do is throw the ingredients in a blender and your done. It’s perfect to make during meal prep. You can also pour it over veggies or chicken for extra flavor while getting all the anti-inflammatory benefits of the turmeric. Win-win!
Turmeric Tahini Dressing
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp coconut nectar (or honey)
1 lemon juiced
1 clove garlic
1 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp salt
Put all the ingredients in a high power blender or food processor and blend it until it’s smooth and liquid. Transfer it to a container and serve on salads, veggies or even chicken!
